Prepare 1 Pack Chicken Wings
Prepare Sweet Chili Sauce (I prefer to use Blue Dragon brand)
Take 1 Spring Onion
Make ready Parsley Leafs
Make ready Soy Sauce
Make ready 2 Tbsp Flour
Prepare 2 Tbsp Paprika
Take Salt & Pepper
Make ready 2 Tbsp Sage
Make ready 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
Make ready 1 Liter Oil
Make ready 1 Lime
Instructions to make Sweet Chili Chicken Wings:
Warm up your oil in your Wok while you prep the wings. Don’t forget to wash your chicken wings.
Get a large mixing bowl for your chicken wings, then add your seasonings: Paprika, Sage, Salt, Pepper, Garlic Powder, Flour, then cover your chicken in as much Soy Sauce and Sweet Chili Sauce as you prefer. Cut a lime in half and give it a good squeeze over your chicken wings and mix all together well until chicken wings are completely covered.
Chop your Spring Onion and some Parsley Leafs to garnish your wings at the end and keep the other half of your lime to squeeze over your finished wings.
Your Oil should be very hot and you should have it on a high heat. Gently place your wings in the Oil they will start to bubble and spit, so take care not to put too many wings in at once.
Let your wings bubble away on one side for about 8 minutes then gently flip over the other side for another 8 to 10 minutes. Your wings might have a black crust on them depending how long you fry your wings, I find the black sticky crispy bits on the skin add to flavor but if you do not desire to have them that crispy and sticky remove your wings from the pan earlier ensuring they are still cooked through completely.
Finally garnish with some salt, pepper, your chopped Spring Onion and parsley and not to forget to squeeze the other half of your lime over your finished wings! Enjoy with whatever sauce your desire.
