Get For bread mixture
Prepare 4 bread slices(chunks)
Make ready 1 cup milk
Make ready 1 tsp refined flour (maida)
Get 2 tsp sugar

Get 1/2 litre milk
Get 3 tsp custard powder
Prepare 1/4 cup sugar

Take 4 tsp Roasted peanuts
Prepare 3 tsp shredded coconut for garnishing
Make ready 3 tsp tutti-frutti for Garnishing
Steps to make Steamed Bread Pudding:
Heat oil in a pan,add refine flour and saute it for 1 minute on low flame.
Now add milk and keep stirring to avoid lumps,add sugar and chunks of bread,mix well until milk mixture coats the bread chunks and keep aside.
In another pot take milk,keep the flame on and let it boil once add sugar and meanwhile in a small bowl take custard powder with water,mix nicely to make a lumpsfree mixture and add this mixture in boiling milk and keep stirring to avoid lumps until it became thicken.
Add vanilla essence,mix well and keep it aside to cool down completely.
Now take greased pot or cake tin,place first layer of custard,then add a layer of bread mixture and after that sprinkle some roasted peanuts,tutti-frutti and shredded coconuts,repeat the process.
Take 2 glass of water in a cooker and let it boil,now place cake pot into the cooker and steam it for 30-35 minutes on low to medium flame.
Check the pudding by inserting the toothpick,if it comes clean it means pudding is ready,otherwise steam it for 5 minutes more.
Once the pudding steamed transfer the pudding carefully in a plate and keep aside to cool down completely and keep it in fridge for 1 hour to set.
Steamed Bread Pudding is ready to serve chilled.
